Who is The Sheppey Shed?
Well, essentially that's me! I'm Chris, a full time accounting manager and hobby woodworker. Having built up a workshop over many years I love nothing more than getting away from the spreadsheets and into the sawdust.
Wherever possible I use recycled materials - whether that's oak from a leftover flooring project, driftwood from Somerset and Dorset beaches, or rusty nails from a local resident clearing out their shed, I love to re-use and re-purpose. Which does mean I keep hold of lots of items most people would throw away - and find there's barely any room for me in the workshop!
I get inspiration from the wonderful countryside and villages in Somerset, as well as other crafters from around the world.
